The Ultra-E Submicron Depth Filtration series is manufactured using patented, proprietary electroadsorption technology. The filter media consists of coated glass microfibers produced by the wet-laid nonwoven method, laminated between spunbond layers for mechanical strength.
Unlike ordinary mechanical filters, Ultra-E works through electro-adhesion and ion exchange — attracting charged pathogens even much smaller than the nominal filter pores. The result: effectiveness comparable to membrane filtration, with low pressure drop and high flow rate.
